Heiwa Peace Plaza

As a primary feature of Japantown, the Peace Plaza needed a distinctive identity compatible in look and feel with the surrounding community. NDD worked closely with the Peace Plaza Task Force, presenting a variety of lettering and formats for discussion and consideration. After the selection, NDD provided the typeface and layout of the lettering used on the Plaza’s fountain and Geary Boulevard wall. Giving visual identity to the theme and heritage of the Peace Plaza.
