Kimochi, Inc.

Kimochi, the Japanese word for “feelings from the heart” is a non-profit organization co-founded by Steve Nakajo and Sandy Mori. Kimochi provides vital programs and services for seniors in San Francisco’s Japantown. To help Kimochi’s public outreach efforts, NDD created an identity that blends gentle Japanese aesthetics with a clear positioning line. The look and feel of the well-known logo design was carried throughout the organization’s administrative building, website and promotional materials.

Collaborators: Karen Sasaki, Rhonda Hirata, Greg Goodwin, Bob Mizono, Rob Kawamura, Kean Hiroshima
and Wes Aoki
