History Unveiled
Crystal City Pilgrimage
The Crystal City Pilgrimage Committee (CCPC) is dedicated to educating and raising public awareness about the U.S. Department of Justice’s WWll Crystal City Family Internment Camp; the violations of the civil and human rights of the internees of Japanese, German, and Italian ancestry – both immigrant residents and citizens of the United States and those seized from Latin American nations – due to racism and national discrimination; and the struggle for government accountability to secure proper redress and reparations and prevent future reoccurrence of such violations.
